Steed + Friends is Helen Steed's studio in every sense. Every brand it touches reflects Helen’s point of view, the talents of her hand-picked teams (‘Friends’), and the visions of the forward-thinking brands she works with.

My role has been to partner with Helen as a fractional Project Director and operational and financial consultant as she builds her vision for a ‘borderless, bespoke’ practice into a reality.

Beyond agency operations and project oversight, I advise on strategy and writing whenever needed, and serve as Helen’s day-to-day partner in new business development and account management. I support her clients and partners with diplomacy, allowing Helen to stay focused on the creative work that keeps her in high demand.

The result: project profit margins have doubled, without changing any of what makes the agency singularly Helen’s (+ Friends).
